DELIVERY

What do you get when you have a former pizza delivery boy, film buff, and an unhealthy obsession with Nicolas Winding Refn’s, 2011 neo-noir, Drive?

You get Delivery! A story about a kid who takes his job as a pizza delivery boy way too seriously and experiences a series of weird and unusual mishaps in a night of delivering pizzas. Full of street lights, shiny roads at nighttime reflecting the rain, and many instances of quietly driving to the next delivery.

I wanted an excuse to draw myself and my car at the time, a 2004 Chrysler Sebring convertible. I miss that car. Illustration was done on my iPad in Procreate. Drawn in a Drew Struzan styled montage.

This is clearly a parody and something I look forward to making into a short film. Many friends and fellow creatives argue it has a short film appeal to it. The script is about 50% done. Stay tuned!?
